Vista Crash While Viewing Awards

So I haven't played this game in a while but I recently got a new computer and decided to see how it handled 2142. Its working pretty well except that every time I go into the BFHQ and view my awards, the game crashes after about 15 seconds. I'm running 64-bit vista. Anything I can do to fix this?

Apparently it is a problem with the 1.5 full patch, the only fix is to re-install using the 1.4 and 1.4-1.5 incremental, but I wouldn't bother, use this site or one of the others.

The only thing to do is to reinstall the whole client + patches. This can happen on XP too.

Hi, not just re-install everything. But re-install like this :
uninstall everything, install BF2142, then patch 1.4, then NS, then re-patch 1.4, then 1.5.
Worked for me
